I don't really care for those headbands with
huge flowers on them but she does need something to tame that hair down. So we made some with ribbon (and elastic) we found at the craft store.
If you have any tips for how to control that hair PLEASE feel free to let me know. I have tried blow drying it but that just makes it more fluffy. I have tried some products but they just make it look too overdone for a baby-but I could just be using the wrong products. Her pediatrician actually thought I styled her hair this way. Oh no, it has a mind of it's own and they sure don't teach you baby hair styles in that birthing class.

So.. um.. when will you be delivering my headband to me??
That second picture down is the funniest face I think I have ever seen her make.. classic!
those are such cute pictures. Try using just lotion. That is what I use on Seth's hair. I just put some lotion in there and style it and it stays. Weird I know, but it works.
I hope you're not sick of hearing this but seriously... could she be ANY CUTER?? I would watch out for that one. Boy magnet for sure!
And not that I have experience or anything, but the comment Mandy just made? My sister in-law uses lotion on her babies hair too and it works!
oh my gosh! I love love love her! Cutest pics ever. Great photos, lans. Love the lighting, love the headband, love the girl. Can she come over for a sleep over with Boss? I promise to enforce the "no closed doors" policy!
la la la love this ribbon headband. i'm with you on those ginormous flower bands.. this is perfect for your baby. and that hair! just thank heavens she has some!
good luck.
Just let it be wild I say! If that counts for anything. On a side note you really should do the Corner View, it would be cool to see all your talent on display...not that it isn't already but you get what I am saying.
Coming from the mom of a totally bald baby--just go with it! I love her hair!! Also, since my child has no hair, and we don't usually do the big headbands either...I need a class on how to make these!
Sorry I just had to mention that I have to come back to this post daily to see that cute peanut. That second picture kills me. Ooh I love her!
I LOVE her crazy hair! And while I sort of love the big bows that you are mocking on your blog, I decided we can still be friends anyway ;)
Cute pictures, Lans. As always.
the first of her many hair accessories- i think it's hilar that you've tried blowdrying it and putting product in it. how about the flatiron or hot rollers?
did you use a round brush when you blew it dry? that might help.. hee hee.
i love that wild hair, and want a headband just like that for June. i can't wait to meet her this summer.
I love her wild and crazy hair!! It's SO CUTE!!! I have no suggestions on hair products, because as Brielle's hair grows, I am running into styling challenges as well. I have tried hairspray and it leaves shiny spots and white flakes as well as lotion, which leaves it greasy and looking like you haven't bathed your child in a month!! ha ha! Good luck!!
She is so dang cute! I just showed her off to my roommate and she agreed: cutest baby ever. I cannot wait to see you both soon!
Alana, she's beautiful!
