22 Weeks

Today while shopping for bargains at a neighbors garage sale, I overheard a girl whisper to her sister,"So, is she or isn't she?" "If I'm not, I have got a serious beer gut going on! And I don't even drink." I answered.
I am finally starting to get a little baby bump. I didn't think I'd embrace it as much as I am. I think it is due to months of people just thinking I was "letting myself go" (Yes, someone did say this to me).
Or it could be due to the fact that it doesn't feel as weird now to have my husband pat my tummy and talk to it in baby-voice in public (or anywhere for that matter).

P.S. More on the bargains later. You will NEVER believe what $100 bucks can buy! If $100 sounds like a lot, would you believe I bought a stroller for $5? Stay tuned to see the rest of the bargains.

Souvenir Part II

These are the "souvenirs" that I picked up in Manuel Antonio.
The last one will be framed in my laundry room. Hmmmm, what to do with the others?

Good Price for You

All the souvenir shops offered "good prices for you." But alas, no beaded necklaces or hand carved bowls caught my eye. I only came back with my photo's, they will have to serve as my "trinkets" to remember this colorful country.

Bienvenidos Costa Rica

Sunny with scattered showers, Costa Rica greeted us quite nicely. More pictures to come.

Iron Man

Surprisingly good. If I were Ebert or even Roeper, I'd say, "Witty, entertaining, fun comic book story."

I went into this movie telling D that if I see this one then he has to see Maid Of Honor with me. But I ended up really liking it. And Gwyneth looks amazing with her comic-book-red hair.
Annie or Mandy, I think you should do this color next time you dye your hair.

One more Onesie

I started out making these flowers into clips for her hair, but they just looked so cute on this onesie that before I knew it I had sewn them on.

Jazz Night

Another Jazz game meant another night at home. Which was fine by me because this time I came prepared!
This is what I made while D and I watched the game together. They were really easy and I can't wait to she what she looks like in them.

I don't mind if I do call myself "foxy." A woman at work said to look at the weight gain as my induction into this elite club called motherhood. I liked that view point and I am honored to be part of the club.

I wanted to give the "I love my dad" onesie to D on Father's Day but I just couldn't wait. Marta, Lori, any one else expecting, you can take this idea if you'd like.
