Halloween

After three years of getting to pick the Halloween costumes, Elle put her foot down and insisted on being a mermaid. I had wanted her to be Little Red Riding Hood, but now I think her choice was better. I went as a shark, D a snorkeler, and Scarlett was a goldfish.

We had so much fun trick-or-treating around the neighborhood. Our neighbors get really into it. The houses were decorated like it was Disneyland, and even Mickey Mouse and the Princesses showed up!

Elle's favorite "treat" was the princess tooth brush that the dentist down the street gave out. She also loved a little pumpkin eraser and a can of apple juice that she insisted on drinking as we went trick-or-treating.

Scarlett stayed home and passed out candy with daddy, but she looked adorable doing it!
